Vanilla bean sample order program

Evaluate the exact beans you would import before committing to a contract. Every pack ships by air with a lab COA, lot photographs and origin data — and the sample fee is credited against your first trial order.

Drawn from a live, export-ready lot

Two lots with the same grade can differ in moisture, pod length, aroma and vanillin. Each sample comes from a real export lot — not showroom stock — and is packed like a commercial carton: vacuum-sealed food-grade barrier bags with oxygen absorbers, so you also evaluate how the beans arrive.

  • Lab COA with measured vanillin range and moisture for that lot
  • High-resolution photographs of the actual lot
  • Origin data: region, harvest window, curing notes and lot code

Sampling is effectively free if you proceed

The bean value of your sample fee is deducted in full from your first trial-order invoice. The credit, its validity window and any courier-cost treatment are stated in your quotation, so your finance team has it in writing.

Where stock allows, we hold the sampled lot during your evaluation so the beans you tested are the beans you buy.

Evaluation

The 7-day evaluation protocol

A structured window from arrival keeps the evaluation objective and sets a clear decision date.

Days 1–2: Arrival and sensory check

Compare the pack with the lot photographs, check seal integrity, then assess flexibility, oil sheen, aroma and defects against the COA.

Days 3–4: Lab verification

If you test in-house or by third party, your moisture and vanillin results should land inside the COA’s measured range.

Days 5–6: Application testing

Extract producers run a small maceration trial; gourmet and retail buyers check presentation, scent throw and packaging fit.

Day 7: Decision call

A short WhatsApp or email review. If the lot passes, we quote a trial order against the same lot code.

FAQ

Sample questions

All export questions
How long does sample delivery take?

Packs ship by international air courier, so transit is typically days rather than weeks. Door-to-door timing depends on your country and customs clearance; we confirm a realistic window in your quotation.

Is the sample fee refundable if I don’t order?

It is not refunded as cash, but the full bean value is credited against your first trial order. Buyers who do not proceed have paid only for the beans and courier they received.

Do samples come from the lot I would import?

Yes. The COA, photographs and origin data all reference the sample’s lot code. Where stock allows, we hold that lot through your evaluation window.

Can I combine Grade A and Grade B in one pack?

Yes — the mixed evaluation pack (2 × 250 g) is designed for side-by-side comparison. Tahitensis can be added on request, subject to availability.

What documents come with the sample versus a commercial shipment?

Samples include the lot COA, photographs and origin data. Commercial shipments add the full export set — phytosanitary certificate, commercial invoice and packing list under HS 0905, plus destination-specific paperwork.
